Training for Schools & Workplaces

Personal safety, de-escalation and practical self-defence education for groups.

This is not just physical training. We teach what to notice, what to say, when to leave, what the law allows, and what to do if escape is not possible.

Why this training matters

Many people are expected to handle unsafe, aggressive or uncertain situations without ever being taught how to protect their space, use their voice, leave safely or understand what the law allows.

Do your students or staff know how to:
recognise warning signs early?
set boundaries clearly?
use their voice under pressure?
create space and move away?
understand reasonable force?
respond if escape is not immediately possible?

How training can be delivered

Sessions can be delivered at your school, workplace or community venue, or at our regular training space in Ipswich.

Taster session

1h

A low-commitment introduction — ideal when time is tight or you want to test the fit before booking more.

Practical workshop

2h–3h

Hands-on practice with time to drill core skills — ideal when the group is ready to train in a single session.

Multi-session course

3+ sessions (2h each)

Skills revisited and reinforced over several sessions — ideal for building deeper confidence that lasts beyond a single visit.

What sessions can cover

Every session is adapted to the age, setting, risk profile and comfort level of the group. Topics can be mixed and matched to create the right programme for your setting.
